UPCOMING ACET ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2026

Public Awareness Notice

The Association of Consulting Engineers Tanzania (ACET) wishes to inform all members, stakeholders, partners, and the consulting engineering community that preparations are underway for the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026.

In accordance with the ACET Constitution and the long-established tradition of the Association, the Annual General Meeting is convened once every year to provide members with an opportunity to review the Association’s activities, consider annual reports and financial matters, discuss issues affecting the profession, and contribute to the strategic direction of ACET.

Following this established practice, ACET expects to hold the 2026 Annual General Meeting during the customary period in July, continuing the tradition of bringing together members from across Tanzania to strengthen professional collaboration and advance the consulting engineering sector.

The AGM remains one of the most important events in the ACET calendar and serves as a platform for dialogue, accountability, knowledge sharing, and decision-making for the benefit of the Association and its members.

Members are therefore encouraged to remain attentive to forthcoming official communications regarding the confirmed date, venue, agenda, registration procedures, and other important arrangements related to the meeting.

ACET extends its sincere appreciation to all members, consulting firms, partners, and stakeholders for their continued support and commitment to promoting excellence, professionalism, innovation, and sustainable development in Tanzania’s consulting engineering industry.

ACET NEWSLETTER

ENGINEERS countrywide have been
urged to brainstorm on how they can
join hands locally and internationally
to increase the number or engineers
as they were badly required in various
development projects.
According to UNESCO, the number of
engineers in Sub-Saharan Africa is lower
then any other region of the world.
This was said during the World
Engineering Day (WED) celebrated on
March 4th 2023 in Dar es Salaam
whereby stakeholders from different
countries attended. This year’s
celebrations were marked globally in
Madrid Spain.
Several participants expressed their
By a Reporter satisfaction at the way the Day was
organized. The theme for this year was:
“Engineering Innovation for a more resilient
world”. In Tanzania it was organized by
the Association of Consulting Engineers
(ACET), Institution of Engineers Tanzania
(IET) and the Engineers Registration
Board (ERB).
